MAY 23, Miller Center: How will austerity budget impact city services? Where are the savings? and What about the $150K from Penny for Parks for Waterfront North skateboard rink?


*Ward 4 and Ward 7 Neighborhood Assembly is moving to fourth Wednesday of the month. Start 6:45pm and ending at 8:30pm.

Opportunity to talk with elected and appointed officials about city issues. 7:10-7:40pm.

Discuss budget with Board of Finance Ward 7 City Councilor, Paul Decelles, and Ward 4 resident Interim CAO Paul Sisson, Mayor Miro, and Asst CAO Scott Schrader (?). 7:30-8:30pm.

The budget team was able to find savings that make it unnecessary to ask voters for a tax rate increase. Public Safety will not be shortchanged. What changes can we expect? How did the budget team accomplish this? The floor will be open to public for questions, ideas, comments.
