GOOD TIME, GOOD FOOD, GOOD NEIGHBORS!

Dale was MC for the evening, the man in charge!

At the NPA BBQ this year, we honored appointees to city boards and commissions and invited them to speak about their board to inspire others to apply. A complete list is at the city web site, and residents interested in applying for a position can call their councilor for assistance or contact the City Clerk's office.

Special recognition was given to the long-time volunteers who keep Starr Farm Dog Park from going to the dogs! As Sandy reminds us, it is a park that PEOPLE BRING THEIR DOGS TO, not a Dog Park! The distinction remind us that this park requires the same good management and regular maintenance as any other park in the city. North End NPA has a resolution before the Finance Board currently, requesting that dog license fee$ be dedicated to dog park maintenance.
Chuck went to the dog park with his dog
every morning, talked to people and
recruited people to help. Everyone likes
and respects him.
